Join me for My Chat with Derek Cronin, apprentice cooper to Ger Buckley, Head Cooper in Midleton Distillery. Derek is a qualified carpenter, a chippie, and he started his coopering apprenticeship in March 2020, at the start of the pandemic. I visited himself and Ger to see how it's all going so far. I wasn't disappointed.
